Stefan Stichler
Is a german artist based in Frankfurt/ Main and Düsseldorf.
His works are exhibited international and are represented in selected
art collections.
His generally oversized oil paintings are seen as tools, a kind of pause-button makeing moments visible that flash in his mind for a fraction of a second found in the streets.
Unspectacularly, very common on the first view.
But they open up a deeper level of philosophical questions, well known or well hidden by the modern urban being.
His sculptures, where he uses mirror as a main item, complete the idea of different levels of perception and the difficulties to distinguish.
